Left untreated, it fails discharge standards — triggering fines, production stoppages, or expensive municipal surcharges.

1 · Pretreatment
Mechanical bar screens and an equalization tank remove coarse solids and smooth out flow peaks.
2 · DAF Clarification
Dissolved air flotation removes FOG, suspended solids, and a large share of COD before biological treatment.
3 · Biological (Optional)
A/O or MBR stages polish the effluent to reach strict reuse or discharge standards.
4 · Sludge Dewatering
Belt or screw press dewaters the collected sludge to 20–35% cake solids for low-cost disposal.
The Two Machines That Do the Heavy Lifting
Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) System
The workhorse for food wastewater. Micro-bubbles attach to fat, oil, and solids and float them to the surface, where a skimmer removes them — before they can foul your biological or membrane stages.
Sludge Dewatering Systems
The FOG and solids removed by the DAF become sludge. Dewater it on-site to cut haulage and disposal costs — belt press, screw press, or decanter centrifuge depending on sludge volume and type.
